2024 MAWWG-NEBAWWG Joint Meeting
The National Association of Wetland Managers (NAWM) and NEIWPCC have teamed up in cooperation with EPA Regions 1, 2, and 3 to host this year’s meeting. The 2024 Joint Meeting of MAWWG and NEBAWWG will be an opportunity to foster continued collaboration across EPA Regions 1, 2, and 3.
The meeting will be held on November 12-14, 2024 at the Hotel Northampton in Northampton, MA. Information on the meeting agenda, registration, accommodations, and more is available below.
Among the many benefits of participation, attendees can expect to:
- Learn about new or updated programs, projects, regulations, data sources & policies
- Exchange knowledge and experiences on wetland programs, strategies, methods & tools
- Network, collaborate, and build partnerships across states/regions
Agenda
A draft agenda outline is provided below. A full agenda will be posted when available.
- Tuesday (11/12/24): Afternoon field trip to area wetlands
- Wednesday (11/13/24): Full day of sessions at the Hotel Northampton
- Thursday (11/14/24): Full day of sessions at the Hotel Northampton
Registration
All members of MAWWG and NEBAWWG are invited to attend the 2024 Joint Meeting and there is no registration fee. Please register by October 11, 2024.
Accommodations
A block of rooms is available at the Hotel Northampton for meeting attendees. The hotel will honor the prevailing government lodging rate at the time of the meeting; the current rate is $146/night but is subject to change after the start of the fiscal year on October 1, 2024. Rooms are available in the block for Monday night (11/11/24) through Thursday night (11/14/24).
To make a room reservation, call the Hotel Northampton at 413-585-0210 and mention that you are part of the “MAWWG-NEBAWWG Joint Meeting” room block. The deadline for room reservations is October 11, 2024.
Travel Assistance
Limited funding is available for travel assistance. If you need a scholarship to attend the meeting, please complete the application form available here. Applications should be submitted by August 16, 2024 for priority consideration for travel assistance funding.
