NAWM’s Annual State/Tribal/Federal Coordination Meeting, was held at the National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) on April 27-30, 2026. Optional field trips were held on Monday, April 27, followed by three full days of informative presentations and panel discussions. The purpose of this annual meeting was to share wetland management successes and support state and Tribal wetland program managers and other wetland professionals as they respond to challenges in the coming year.

The 2026 meeting was NAWM's 25th annual coordination meeting! The theme for this year's meeting was Celebrating America’s Wild and Wonderful Wetlands and it was an amazing opportunity to gather together as a wetland community of practice, build partnerships, and explore new opportunities for wetland protection and restoration. The meeting sessions covered a range of topics related to the management of our nation's precious wetland resources, with particular focus on wetland stewardship, new pathways for wetlands policy and conservation, effective and creative partnerships, and innovations in restoration.
