ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORM

Abstracts must be submitted by Friday, July 3, 2026. Decisions will be announced by July 31, 2026.

Guidelines:

• Abstracts should not exceed 450 words and should include:
  • Project title
  • Overall project purpose
  • Major elements/tasks of the project
  • Core Elements Framework (which of the elements did the project hope to address and why was it needed)
  • Wetland Program Plan (did the project support a goal or objective in a WPP?)
• We are particularly interested in presentations on the following topics:
  • Wetlands Program Management (e.g., Best Practices, Tools and Resources, Success Stories). For example:
    • Best Practices for Developing your Wetland Program
    • Wetlands Mapping and Wetland Inventory
  • Creative Approaches to Sustain a Wetland Program (e.g., Creative Partnerships, Funding and Projects). For example:
    • Innovative Demonstration Projects
    • Tribal Wetland Working Groups
  • Regulatory and Policy Approaches (e.g., Innovative Approaches, Mitigation Crediting, Guidance Documents). For example:
    • State and Tribal-led Efforts for “Gap Waters”
    • Evaluation of Compensatory Mitigation
• Accepted presentations may be assigned up to 25-minute time slots or grouped with similar presentations into a panel discussion with several shorter presentations (10-15 minutes).
